Kenny O'Neal, a Moore resident, will have his yearlong weight loss journey chronicled on an upcoming episode of the hit ABC series Extreme Weight Loss
set to air this Tuesday.
A former Marine, Kenny weighed 410 pounds when he began his journey. He hoped to improve his life by losing up to half of his bodyweight by the final weigh-in. Kenny is a 35-year-old married father of three from Oklahoma City, OK. Formerly very fit and active, after quitting the Marines, he became depressed and quickly gained more than 150 pounds.
Kenny’s depression and weight problems became a real concern for him and his family. After severe tornadoes ripped through his hometown of Moore, OK, in 2013 – destroying his children’s school and his childhood home -- Kenny realized how short life really is and how quickly it can all be taken away.
Vowing to turn his life around once and for all, Kenny wrote a letter to trainer and transformation specialist Chris Powell asking for help. Coached by Chris, Kenny will undergo transformations filled with brutal challenges and triumphant victories.
Kenny's episode airs on Tuesday, August 19 from 7-9 p.m. Kenny and his family will host a Watch Party Celebration this Tuesday, August 19th from 6:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at Shekinah Fellowship Church located at 412 SW 104th Street. They invite the whole community to attend. The event will include drawings, lots of health tips, and special surprises.
TheMooreDaily will be at the celebration, and will talk to Kenny about his weight loss journey.
